Enduring three generations of a family with Alzheimer's, including 20 years with her Mom, Jennifer became determined to prevent the disease in herself and help other caregivers.
However, research and reading books by others should have addressed the gamut of questions. She was determined to add her experiences to what was already available, so she started the Fading Memories podcast. This is a podcast to share her experiences and knowledge. Producing the podcast broadened her knowledge far more than expected.
After nearly 300 interviews with caregivers, industry experts, and people living with cognitive impairment, Jennifer can speak on various topics: brain health caregiving, lifestyle options for optimal brain health, and more.
There are commonalities in coping with the disease, but many differences. The more experienced voices addressing this topic, the better off we can all be.
Jennifer brings her experiences to the public with a passion for helping others navigate a similar journey, avoid one of their own, and be a knowledgeable friend that people can turn to when they need support.
